ENERGY FM SA is an urban radio station based in the City of Polokwane, Limpopo Province. It broadcasts for 24 hours each day from its state of the art studio complex equipped with the latest technology and software. ENERGY FM SA mentors are Shonisani Ashifashabba Muleya and it’s Chairman, Simphiwe Mdlalose.
BROADCASTS
ENERGY FM SA broadcasts in English, Sepedi, Tshivenda, and Xitsonga. It started operating on 27 October 2014. It plays various music genres that are extensively enjoyed in its broadcast area – R & B, House, Hip Hop, Kwaito, Afro Pop, Gospel, Reggae, and Pop from the ’80s, 90’s and now. The programs seek to educate, empower, and entertain. It’s listeners form part of content generation though show presentation, news gathering, and other forms of on air contributions.
FOOTPRINT
ENERGY FM SA footprint covers areas like the City of Polokwane, Seshego, Mankweng, and surrounding areas. It is controlled by a board made up of a cluster of community organizations, who are its main beneficiaries and board members. It is managed by a team of competent youth and young adults from within its broadcast area.
